What it does

Every page of the U-Heft, on the phone that is always with you.

All ten U-Untersuchungen.

U1, U2, U3, U4, U5, U6, U7, U7a, U8, U9. Each one with the original fields from the booklet — anamnesis, physical exam, counseling, results.

STIKO vaccinations.

The official schedule, adjusted to your child's date of birth. Every dose, every booster. Mark done and move on.

Calm reminders.

Local push notifications before every upcoming exam window. You pick the timing. Never delivered by a third party.

Multiple children.

Switch between siblings with a tap. Each child has their own watchlist, growth charts, vaccinations, and documents.

Growth chart.

Weight, height, and head circumference logged at every exam and plotted on a single chart over time.

Documents attached. Soon

Add photos, lab results, referrals, and PDFs to any exam or vaccination. Keep the paperwork where it belongs.

How it works

Four steps. That is the whole app.

Add your child's name and date of birth. The app seeds every U-Untersuchung for you.

Fill in the booklet pages as you go — at home, at the pediatrician, or before the next appointment.

Tick off vaccinations as they happen. The STIKO calendar keeps the next one in view.

Get a local reminder a few days before each upcoming exam. Bring the phone. Done.

What you get

Everything the paper booklet does, plus a few things it cannot.

Privacy

Your child's health data stays with you. Nothing leaves the device.

No sign-up, no account, no server of mine. Data lives in SwiftData on your iPhone and syncs only through your private iCloud, end-to-end encrypted by Apple. Apple's App Privacy label: "Data Not Collected."

Support

Something not working? Write me.

Email leo+kinderuntersuchungsheft@leocardz.com. I reply within two business days.

Please include your iOS version, the app version (from Settings), which U-Untersuchung or vaccination is affected, and what you expected versus what happened.

Is this an official product of the Bundesausschuss / G-BA?
No. Kinderuntersuchungsheft is an independent app that mirrors the content of the official paper booklet so you can fill it in digitally. The paper booklet your pediatrician gives you remains the legal document.
Do I still need the paper Kinderuntersuchungsheft?
Yes. The paper booklet stays with the pediatrician during appointments — they stamp and sign it. This app is a parallel record you control: easier to search, never lost in the diaper bag, always with you.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone, and — if you are signed into iCloud — in your private CloudKit database, encrypted end-to-end by Apple. I never see it. No third-party servers, no analytics, no tracking. Apple's App Privacy label: "Data Not Collected."
Does it work for multiple children?
Yes. Add as many children as you like in Settings. Each child has their own schedule, growth chart, vaccinations, and documents. Switch between siblings with a tap.
Can my partner use it too?
Yes — through Apple Family Sharing. One purchase covers the whole family group on their own Apple IDs, so each parent gets the app on their own phone. iCloud sync happens within each Apple ID; the app does not currently share a single child record across two Apple IDs.
My language is not listed.
The app ships in 10 languages today. If yours is missing and you would like to help translate, write me — I add languages as community help comes in.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a child in Settings to remove their records. Delete the app to remove everything on that device. If you use iCloud sync, you can also remove the app's iCloud data from iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
